Second Trip to Idaho

Or Hidaho as Dillon calls it. We spent another week in the Northern Idaho town of Hope on Lake Pend Orielle (said Ponderey). We went with my family and my second family the Kirks. We have done many, many family trips with the Kirks over the years but this was the first one with the new set of little kids. Did change things a bit but everyone had a great time.

We rented two houses on one property at the end of the road right on the lake. There was plenty of room and things to do. The weather started off great in the beginning of the week but by the end of the week it felt as if we were at the ocean! The waves were amazing and it was fun to watch the storms come across the lake.

I put the pictures in an album so click this link to see them all.

Few Cute PIctures

Here are a few cute pictures of the boys from the past few weeks.

Mommy did my hair.
Dillon usually picks out his clothes each morning and normally does a really good job picking out items that match.....except for this morning.
Dillon made a bulldozer complete with a stick shift. So creative!
Daddy reading to his boys. Jason was helping turn the pages.
Just a cute picture of the two.

Four Months

Jason turned 4 month old amidst of all the craziness a few weeks ago. He is a very healthy boy. He weighs just under 19 pounds, although now is probably over that, and is 27 inches long.
On his four month birthday he rolled over, back to stomach, for the first time! He was so proud of himself.
Almost got it....
Did it!
He loves to laugh out loud and is very ticklish. He's a happy baby except for when he is hungry or tired. He likes to watch what is going on around him and loves to "talk" to his big brother.

His sleeping pattern hasn't been as good lately...he's waking up a bit more at night, but he still sleeps better than Dillon some nights!

Lots To Catch Up On

My goodness a month has almost gone by since the last time I posted anything...needless to say it has been a crazy busy month!

Dillon's summer preschool class ended. He'll start back up again in September.

We had several trees cut down in our front yard. This is the first step of many to redo our front yard to the boys have a place to play. So by next summer we should be all done.

Before

After

Dillon and Art had lots of wood to move and chop.

Then Dillon and Art got very, very sick with a stomach virus. It was the worst that I have ever seen. I had to call in reinforcements and mom pretty much either had Jason at her house or stayed with us for almost a week. They were both sick for about 5 days and then it took about another 5 until they were back to their old selves. On top of that it was sooo HOT here. Got to 100 degrees, at least, but more likely several degrees hotter. But after you hit 100 a few degrees hotter doesn't make much of a difference.

Everyone wore as little as possible when it was hot. Dillon is sick in the picture and looks so skinny, but he has gained all the wight back.

My grandmother passed away (dad's mom) and Jason and I went down to Albany, OR for the service. Jason got to meet his cousin Owen and Aunt Andria. Then Uncle Ray, Aunt Karlene, and Cousin Kris came up to Bremerton for a few days.

Then it was time to pack up, as we were headed back to Idaho. More on that trip in another post.
