Some Pictures

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.

Dillon wanted to draw lines....so he drew them on the floor!
Guess paper wasn't good enough for these stickers.
Jason is now using the bouncy toy and loves it! Took him a day or so to figure it out but now likes the freedom of being upright all on his own. Of course Dillon is very infatuated with it too.

Found the T.V.
Independent already.
Who doesn't love a naked baby's butt??
Trying out the new golf clubs daddy bought.

You know its summer when you are eating cherries.

Lot Going On

Just realized I haven't done an update in a while. There hasn't been much going on other than the usual and then at the same time lots has been going on.

Dillon is doing really well with the potty training and we've finally gotten him to go poo in the toilet!! I know the lovely things parents are excited about. Since he went once in the toilet he's gone every time since. Guess he finally realized that sitting in dirty diapers is not fun.

Jason continues to be a great baby. Not missing any meals and still sleeping through the night. Naps during the day are hit and miss, but I'd much rather he sleep at night anyway. He's been a bit fussy lately but I thought it was due to the warm weather. I was wrong! He just had his front bottom two teeth poke through!! He'd been drooling and biting his fingers a lot but I just figured that's what babies do. Can't believe he already has two teeth...Dillon didn't get his until he was 8 months.

I don't have the camera with me right now, so I'll post pictures from the last few weeks another time.

Glass Half Full

Dillon is a glass half full kind of kid. Yesterday was a very windy day. On the way to school this is what he said (imagine it said in the cutest little boy voice).

"Oh thank you trees for being windy. Now we have leaves to pick up."

So now when ever you have to go out and pick up leaves just remember this and maybe it will make the chore a little more enjoyable.

4th of July

We went to Gram and Papa's for the 4th. It was a beautiful day and Dillon had a great time playing with Cade and Claire again.

Dillon just squeezed his way onto the swing.
Cute little Cheeto finger/faced kids.
Cade and Dillon playing ladder golf.
Claire practicing her babysitting skills.
Jason and Papa.
Jason and Uncle Craig...doesn't he look like a baby was just thrown into his lap?
Roasting marshmallows.
Playing with a toy that was a hit with all the kids.

Beautiful sunset.
Waiting patiently for the fireworks to start. Dillon stayed up this year and did really well. He even slept in the next morning!!

Summer Time!

We had a very warm few days last week and got the sprinkler and pool out again. This time Jason got to try the pool out too!

Think of all the fun they'll have in the pool next summer!

Dillon was so excited to catch Jason as he went down the slide...he loves his baby brother...for now anyway.

Jason enjoying the hot weather.

Nothing beats a popsicle on a hot summer day.

Getting Dirty

Amy and her kids are up from California and went camping for a few days so we went out to visit. Dillon had fun and got very dirty just in the few hours we were there. Wonder if we'll even be able to tell what color his skin is after a few days of caming!

Look at thoes feet!
Dillon got to help roast and eat marshmallows...which can also get you dirty!
Watching Dave to see how it is done.
Dillon is ready to give it a try.
I think he likes it!

Sticky mess!
Claire loved have a baby to "play with". But Jason didn't cooperate as well as her baby doll does.

Since Dillon is potty training some days he wants to wear underpants...this day he didn't want to wear anything else. And decided to play in the sandbox. Little did he know that sand would get everywhere!

3 Months...Already!

This past Monday Jason turned 3 months!! Can't believe how fast time has gone by. He is up to 18.5 pounds!! He is a lot to carry around, especially in his carrier. Sleep is still going really well at night and has slept through the night a few times. Naps are a little more unpredictable but I am not complaining!
Jason has figured out how to put things in his mouth and that is entertaining him and us.

"I think I can get it."
"Got it"

When ever this block fell and he couldn't grab it he'd start to cry. He'd stop as soon as he had the block back.

Look at that lower lip!
Cutie!
