Happy Mother's Day
For Mother's Day the boys took me to a nursery on Friday evening (before everything was crowded over the weekend). We bought some lovely pots that already had plants potted in them. Because lets face it when am I going to have the time to be planting flowers?!
Dillon loved riding in the cart. This was a big nursery and had lots to look at. There was a pond with Koi fish (Dillon really enjoyed looking at them) and a waterfall. Of course I didn't have my camera when we were walking around. :(
On Mother's Day we went down to Gram's for lunch and had a very nice time...until it was obvious that we needed to go home for naps. Jason gave me his present last night as he only woke up once! He slept from 10:30/11:00 p.m. to 3:30 and then again until 7:00!
Dillon also made me a gift. Saturday night we had dinner out on the deck and when we were cleaning up Dillon was getting into trouble so he got sent into the house; which he was NOT happy about. When it was time for me to come in he met me at the door and said "I made you a Mother's Day card." This was totally unprompted by Art and he thought of it all on his own. Of course after I had scolded him a few minutes earlier it made my heart melt and also made me think he is one smooth guy. Wonder what he will be when he grows up?!
We didn't do much this week as our car was in the shop and the weather wasn't all that great, but here a few pictures of the boys from the week.
Jason is loves giving smiles these days. He also coo's a lot and we have little conversations. I am a little scared that we have another talker on our hands! But the cooing is so cute and I don't really remember Dillon doing it all that much.
Tummy Time - he doesn't seem to mind it at all.
Dillon attempting to pick Jason up. He really likes to hold him.
Since Jason was laying down Dillon thought he should too.
