This Weekend
Saturday we got to see our new identical twin nephews for a few hours. They are cute and tiny. They were born about 2 months early at the beginning of February and came home last week, but at 6 weeks old are doing great.....eating, sleeping, and pooping just like any baby would. Dillon was interested but just a little too interested at first. Soon as he got to go to his 4 year old cousins room and play he was in heaven. I forgot to get a picture of Dillon with the twins, oh well.

Layne- they are hard to tell a part but Stewart had scratched himself so we could easily tell.

Sunday was a very interesting day! Art got up about 6:30, (because Dillon woke up and was dirty, he needed to play in his room until it was light outside. The rule really works!) and it was raining. I got up with Dillon about 7:20 and it had just started snowing little tiny flakes and by 7:30 everything was white and it was really coming down. By 10:30 we had over 3 1/2 inches!!! The biggest snow flakes I have ever seen and it just piled up really fast.
Then about noon the sun came out and the temperature warmed up almost 10 degrees and most of the snow melted by the end of the day. About 2:30 we had the strongest and shortest wind storm I have ever seen. The wind and horizontal rain/hail was coming straight out the west right at our house and all the windows! I was afraid something would hit and break the windows but luckily nothing did. We have some good size branches on the roof and lots of branches on the ground but nothing major. Then as quickly as the storm started it was clear and sunny outside. What a weird weather day!!

I hadn't seen this before. Snow had settled on top of the bay. This is when it was melting and the currents were breaking it up. Neat to see.
