Big Update
Emphasis on BIG (or long anyway). Most everything is BIG to Dillon. Big truck, big tractor, etc. He is starting make 3 word sentences and seems to remember everything! He loves trucks and fire engines. He hears the sirens and takes off running to try and see them. He also does a pretty good impression of a siren. Too bad I don't have it on video yet . . .
Can you believe it he is 22 months old?? I can not believe that he is almost two, this past year has flown by. Our baby is definitely now a little boy. He is very helpful and neat. He is pretty good at putting things away when you ask him and even when you don't. If I leave my shoes out he usually picks them up and puts them away in my closet. Still not a fan on getting his fingers dirty. The other day at preschool the teacher sprayed shaving cream on the table for the boys (the summer class is all boys!) to play with. Dillon barely touched it once and was done and wanted it off his hands. Most the other boys had it everywhere!! I wonder if this cleanliness will continue, one can only hope I guess.

Not sure where the time has gone these past few weeks. The weather hasn't been very nice so we've been indoors almost everyday. I have started working 2 days a week from home and mom (Gram) comes down to watch Dillon on those days. We have preschool in the mornings two days a week, so then we are to Friday and the weekend before starting it all over again. We always hear people saying "time flies", but Art and I are just now really getting to understand this.
Here are some pictures of the past few weeks.
Dillon LOVES ice cream. So much so that he needed two spoons. I really do think that any type of ice cream is his favorite food.

Reading the paper...now all he needs is his baby latte!

Doesn't he look cool!

We did manage to get to the zoo one day. It just happened to be the day that 40 bus loads of elementary school kids also went to the zoo. We almost turned around and went home when we saw the buses but thought we'd see how crowded the zoo really was. It turned out to not be too bad as when we got there it was the time that most of the kids were eating their packed lunches.

We got a new entertainment cabinet that Art had to put together. Dillon loves helping and using tools. He makes the sound of the drill (too cute) while "drilling" and "measures" how long things are. Mom and dad are replacing their deck. A few nights ago we stopped by on our evening walk. Dad had just finished up for the day and had small pieces of wood that needed to be picked up and put in a pile on the other side of the deck. Dillon carried each and every piece of wood and stacked them up. The next day at preschool he played with the blocks and was stacking them up just like at papas. He's such a funny boy!

I had a bin full of clothes that I had borrowed from Cheryl (Art's sister) and needed to return. Well Dillon got a hold of that bin and dressed himself. I think he needs some guidance as to when clothes clash!
